The Making of ‘Watchmen’

In 2009 director Zack Snyder, fresh off his success of the phenomenal ‘300‘, adapted a superhero movie like no other superhero movie, based on Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ comic book mini series published by DC, ‘Watchmen‘. Set in 1985, the film follows a group of costumed vigilantes as full-scale war threatens to break out between the United States and the Soviet Union.

watchmenWarner Bros released a buncha ‘making of’ videos with the BluRay release of the movie. The first is a full collection of all the Production Video Journals filmed during the making of the movie:

The second is a behind-the-scenes look at fitting “Tales of the Black Freighter” and “Under the Hood” into the movie. These were two stories that were written into the original storyline of the comics, the movie is based on:
