‘SONY PMW 100′ shoots Full HD footage on 50Mbps.

Sony PMW100 is one of the compact, light weight handheld HD camera.  It can able to shoot FULL HD footage at 50Mbps. It is the smallest camera which can able to shoot footage on 1080p, 1080i, and 720p at up to 50Mbps using MPEG HD422 compression.

It has a 1/2.9-inch Exmor sensor sitting behind a 40-400mm, with 10x Optical Zoom. It can also shoot slow and fast motion footage upto 60fps with this slow & fast motion function, images are recorded natively with no padded frames and at full resolution. It also  have omni-directional stereo electret condenser microphone. Which can record audio at 24-bit, four-channel audio at 48 kHz (uncompressed).

It have 3.5” WVGA LCD clear view of footage in camera beside this it also have a 0.24” color viewfinder.  The Sony PMW100 records to a choice of high speed SxS, Memory Stick, SD card and XQD memory cards it is able to shoot 4 hour of continuous recording on 64GB SxS card and its also have HD/SD-SDI output , Genlock input, composite output, time code input/output, i.LINK (HDV/DV) input/output and A/V output.
