Shaun the Sheep Movie is a stop-motion Clay animation film which has claimed 99 percent positive critics in the TOMATOMETER. The film was released in the United Kingdom on February 6, 2015 and has now took its turn in North American market. Being written and directed by Richard Starzak and Mark Burton, it is based on the popular British television series Shaun the Sheep with a title character introduced in the Oscar winning 1995 short A close shave by Aardman Animations. Aardman, a British Studio known for its stop-motion clay animation Blockbusters like Wallace & Gromit and Chicken Run had introduced Shaun the Sheep first time to the big screen. Even though the film has a silent comedy without a verbal dialogue except ‘baaaa’ but it stood as a competitor to the recent releases Disney Pixar’s Inside Out and the Despicable Me’s prequel Minions.
