13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi Trailer

Published on Jul 31 2015 // Movies, Trailers

Based on the true events of 11 September 2012: ‘The Islamic militants attack on the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya’, Paramount pictures is presenting a big budget non-fiction movie 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. The Director Michael Bay who is known for his Blockbuster movies “Transformers” and “Bad Boys” turned the tragic terrorist attack where four Americans U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, foreign service officer Sean Smith, CIA contractors Tyrone S. Woods and Glen Doherty were died in to a thriller movie by emphasizing the six members of a security team (Elite Ex-Military operators) who fought to defend the rest of the fellow Americans at the Benghazi complex. It seems that these six men go against the rules to do what was right. The film is actually based on the book ’13 Hours: The Insiders Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi’ written by Mitchell Zuckoff in 2013. In 2014, Paramount pictures acquired the filming rights to the book and on October 29, 2014, Michael Bay was set to direct and produce. The film casts John Krasinski and James Badge and is scheduled to release on January 15, 2016. Hope the film helps the public understand what really happened.(Source: Wikipedia, deadline.com)
